London Football Awards: Arsenal is doing wonders this season and they have dominated the London Football Awards. Arsenal skipper Martin Odegaard won the Premier League Player of The Year award at the London Football Awards. The captain has been vital in the North London club’s journey this season. The Norway international has scored 10 goals and provided six assists. This award is special for Odegaard as he beat Tottenham’s Harry Kane, Brentford’s Ivan Toney, Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic, and his teammate Bukayo Saka to win the big prize.

Arsenal midfielder showed his happiness after winning the award and said, “I just want to share this with the whole team. It’s great to see the club being recognised with all the awards.” He also added, “I think it shows how far we’ve come as a club, and what we’re doing this year is very special.”


Arsenal’s young sensation Bukayo Saka lost to his captain in the Premier League Player of The Year award. However, he won the Young Player of The Year for the second time. He has won the same award in 2021.

Arsenal’s goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale was named Goalkeeper of The Year. He made some stunning saves for the Gunners and put his club ahead in the title race.

When players were winning the awards, Arsenal’s manager was also behind who won the manager’s prize in London. Mikel Arteta paid tribute to his players, staff, and fans in his speech.


The Spaniard said, “I would like to thank you for the award, for all my colleagues, all the staff, everyone at the club that inspires & supports me and obviously all the supporters that support our club and football in general.”

It has been a glorious season for Arsenal and this side will be remembered for a long if they win the Premier League trophy. The North London club is five points ahead of Man City in the points table. They recently beat Fulham 3-0 to continue their Premier League dominance. Mikel Arteta’s men will now face Sporting Lisbon in Europa League after an eventful 2-2 draw.
