UFC Fight Night: Yan vs. Dvalishvili preview and time

Petr Yan is on a two-fight losing run despite competing in extremely tough fights. In what many considered a contentious decision, he lost his No. 1 ranking to “Sugar” Sean O’Malley at UFC 280. Before his defeat at UFC 280, current champion Aljamain Sterling fought former champion Petr Yan in a rematch, with Sterling easily defeating the Russian.

This weekend’s matchup between Petr Yan and Merab Dvalishvili presents a unique challenge. Although having a rough start in the UFC with two consecutive defeats, “The Machine” won his next eight fights. In his most recent three fights, Dvalishvili defeated José Aldo, Marlon Moraes, and Cody Stamann. At UFC 266, “The Machine” defeated Moraes via second-round TKO.

The main event of UFC Fight Night 221 will air at 6 PM ET on ESPN+, with the preliminary matches starting at 3 PM ET on UFC Fight Pass.
