As per reports, Deandra Dottin was ruled out of the WPL 2023 due to ongoing sickness. Australia’s Kim Garth has been named as a replacement and the all-rounder has already linked up with the Gujarat Giants squad in Mumbai.
“Ace West Indies all-rounder Deandra Dottin is recovering from a medical situation and has been replaced by Australian pace bowler Kim Garth. The Adani Gujarat Giants wish Deandra a speedy recovery, and welcome the talented Kim Garth,” the Gujarat Giants said in a statement.
However, after the announcements, Deandra Dottin created a storm suggesting that she was perfectly fine and fit. When messages started pouring in, the West Indian star wrote, ‘Get well soon from what?’
