The stadium’s boxes, common areas, and restrooms will all be renovated as part of the renovation. The iconic Wankhede stadium will soon offer the people a fresh experience and be completely refurbished. Due to a lack of basic infrastructure in stadiums, some fans recently described their horrifying experience watching cricket in India for women and girls.
They stated that the majority of the Wankhede Stadium’s women’s restrooms were locked, and the one that was available lacked toilet paper, lights, water, or a garbage can. The fans will feel a great deal of relief after the facelift because they won’t have to worry about these problems in the future.
Coming back to the ODI series, team India’s squad against Australia was unveiled on Sunday (February 19). According to the BCCI, captain Rohit Sharma will miss the opening game owing to family obligations. Hardik Pandya will captain the Men in Blue in his absence for the opening match. Star All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja will make his ODI comeback in the three-match series against Australia after an absence of over seven months. The three contests will be held in Mumbai, Vizag and Chennai. The first match will be played on March 17.
