Matthew Kuhnemann, Nathan Lyon, Alex Carey, Pat Cummins, Peter Handscomb, Marnus Labuschagne, and Usman Khawaja were departed by Ravindra Jadeja. The all-rounder registered 7/42 which is his best career figure in Test. Matt Renshaw, Travis Head, and Steve Smith were removed by Ravichandran Ashwin on Sunday.

Day 3 is underway and India is targeting quick wickets at Arun Jaitelty Stadium. Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne’s counterattack game had put Australia in front in Delhi on Day 2.
Jadeja struck early as Usman Khawaja was dismissed cheaply for 6. Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin put on a fine 100 partnership as India were all out for 262, giving Australia a 1-run lead.
Nathan Lyon was breathing fire on Day 2. Aussie spinner sent 5 India batters – KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Cheteshwar Pujara, Shreyas Iyer, KS Bharat – back to the pavilion in the first session. Todd Murphy and Matthew Kuhnemann respectively got the prized scalps of Ravindra Jadeja and Virat Kohli.
David Warner is ruled out after suffering from a concussion. Matt Renshaw has been named as a concussion substitute. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul resumed India’s innings at 21/0 on Day 2 of the IND vs AUS 2nd Test at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
The hosts bowled out Australia for 263 on Day 1 and survived a tough 9 overs spell from the visitors. With the pitch offering turn and variable bounce, India will have to bat out of their skins to take a lead. The action begins ar 9:30 AM IST on Disney+Hotstar.

Australia won the toss and opted to bat first in Delhi. Usman Khawaja and Peter Handscomb scored fighting half-centuries to help the visitors to a competitive total. For India, Mohammad Shami picked up 4 wickets, while both Ashwin and Jadeja got three each.
Rohit looked in good touch having scored a century in the last game. KL Rahul was circumspect as always but did manage to hold onto his end. India will hope that both can set the tone early in the day with a long batting order to follow. With the turn and bounce on offer, the hosts would want to avoid the possibility of chasing a big total in the 4th innings.
