India off-spinner Ravindra Jadeja rattled Australia with a five-wicket haul in Nagpur. The left-arm spinner was at his very best as he ran through the Australian middle order. The southpaw dismissed Marnus Labuschagne and Matt Renshaw and put Australia on the backfoot in the ongoing first Test in Nagpur.
He followed it up with wickets of Steve Smith, Todd Murphy and Peter Handscomb. Jadeja, who is making a comeback after a knee injury, proved his worth immediately. He went past 100 wickets in all formats against Australia, becoming only the 5th Indian to do so.

Jadeja enjoys playing against the Australians, having picked four of his 11 five-wicket hauls against them. Jadeja is India’s most successful left-arm spinner while is 8th in the leading wicket-takers list. He took his tally to 247 wickets on Thursday, and will aim to breach 250 in Nagpur itself.
