In Perth, Australia, Tai Tuivasa and Charles Oliveira were both observed aboard a boat. The former lightweight champion is seen clutching a pint of beer in a photo that Tuivasa shared. The following Instagram post from the heavyweight fighter included a video of Oliveira and Carlos Ulberg fishing.

UFC 284: Tai Tuivasa and Alexander Volkanovski perform traditional dance
Tai Tuivasa and Alexander Volkanovski attended the Perth festival of traditional Aboriginal dancing. Parker Porter, Shane Young, Jack Della Maddalena, and Randy Brown were all present with the fighters. Tai Tuivasa posted a video with the caption, “PEEEERTHHHH, acknowledging the Whadjuk people of the Noongar nation as the land’s traditional owners. Respecting their seniors, both established and emerging.”

Along with the Aboriginal people, all fighters were observed performing the ritual dance during the open-ground event. The warriors had included an Australian ritual in the ceremony.
