The 35-year Lyon was seen standing at the bowlers crease and was hitting a Tennis ball to the other end of the pitch. Posting a video of Lyon’s Tennis serve, journalist Bharat Sudaresan tweeted, “How do you rate Nathan Lyon’s serve? There’s almost a bit of his bowling action in it.”
On spin-friendly tracks in India, Nathan Lyon’s form with the ball is crucial for Australia. The veteran spinner has had success against India by picking up 94 wickets in in 22 Test matches so far. He is Australia’s go-to bowler in the upcoming four-match Test series.

Like Australia, Rahul Dravid too has opted to give an intense practice session to the batters against spin. The head coach has brought in a whopping 10 spinners as net bowlers ahead of the first Test match. It includes Washington Sundar, Jayant Yadav, Saurabh Kumar and Rahul Chahar.
