She continued: “If it were real, it would be extremely long and exhausting. And I don’t think any other reputable sports figures, including Brett Okamoto, understand. Being the first to achieve this, I thus hope that it can occasionally be a difficult route.”

According to UFC president Dana White, the first female commentator for the UFC in the modern era couldn’t possibly be more deserving: “I can’t think of anyone more qualified than Laura to serve as the first female color analyst for the modern UFC era. I couldn’t be more pleased to have her calling the action since she has worked hard to establish herself and earn this position.”
