The Islanders had no answers to a disciplined bowling performance from India. Batting first, SriLanka never looked in the game and could only managed 59 runs in their allotted 20 overs. In reply, Shafali Verma came out all guns blazing but was scalped soon. However, that did not stop the Women in Blue to complete a convincing victory over their neighbours by seven wickets.
