IPL 2023: MS Dhoni – MS Dhoni sweated out in the training session ahead of the start of the IPL 2023 season. The CSK skipper had extensive batting session and concentrated on power hitting. Over the past two years, the wicketkeeper’s batting skills have waned. Dhoni is no more considered a fearsome batter. For the same, the 41-year-old is keen to get back his mojo and hit the training session. Unlike other cricketers, Dhoni does not play domestic cricket, and with age also not by his side, the wicketkeeper batter is concentrating on fitness and has begun training sessions. IPL 2023: CSK to conduct special training camp in Chepauk, Dhoni all set to play last IPL season – CSK will be finally back to their den in Chepauk after three years of agonizing wait. For the same, CSK management have decided to conduct special training in Chepauk. InsideSport understands that coach Stephan Fleming and skipper Dhoni have asked for a special camp to be held in Chennai in February or March.

It will be special for Chennai Super King because they are coming back to their home ground after 3 long years. With some new faces in the team, CSK wants to have a camp to get the players accustomed to Chennai conditions. The camp will begin with domestic players before foreign stars join in according to their international schedule.

“Dates are not fixed but there will be a two-week to a month of camp in Chennai probably in February or early March. MS and Stephen want players to adjust to Chennai conditions. Everyone knows Chennai throws up a different challenge,” a CSK official told InsideSport.
