Greenfield Stadium Pitch Report
The four international matches played at the venue were all low-scoring or brief affairs, hence Greenfield International pitches have not been known for high scores. India held the West Indies to 104 runs in the only ODI played there, and they easily chased down the total.
On that particular day, spin worked the magic, but that was more than four years ago. But it hasn’t been simple for a visiting team to score runs. Despite being a T20 game, seamers enjoyed bowling on the track in the most recent game. The captain who wins the toss will therefore have a difficult decision to make.
