Ind vs SL ODI- Rohit Sharma fan moment: After pocketing the T20I series, Team India will play three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. Ahead of the 1st ODI against Sri Lanka, Rohit Sharma had a fan moment after an ARTIST gifted the skipper a special piece of art. The Hitman was all smiles after receiving the gift. The picture of the same went viral on social media.
The art work is also really unique since the artist Rahul Pareek from Assam has used stamps to make the picture of Rohit Sharma. Speaking to EastMojo about his latest art work Pareek said, “I have used many stamps which I put on the canvas. On these stamps, I have written his (Rohit’s) name in tiny, barely discernible, letters. There are at least 50,000 strokes in this portrait. If you look closely, you will see his name. From afar, you will see a portrait,”

IND vs SL 1st ODI: Rohit Sharma gears up for explosive comeback
Team India skipper Rohit Sharma is making a comeback to Team India after recovering from injury. The opener suffered a finger injury during the 2nd ODI match against Bangladesh last month. He was not picked for the T20I series against Sri Lanka since the BCCI was ensuring that he had fully recovered from his injury.
His place in T20I set up is also under question with BCCI deciding to reboot the system by handing Hardik Pandya the captaincy. Rohit has struggled with injuries and form. The 2022 season saw Rohit failing to cross the 1000-run mark in the 40 innings. It was the first time since 2012 that the Mumbai cricketer failed to score any hundred on the international hundred.
Despite being out injured, Rohit has been ensuring that he keeps himself in best shape. He will be hoping to start the new year with a bang in front of home fans. The team India skipper’s record against the Lankan’s is pretty impressive as well. In 45 innings he has a total score of 1665 runs which includes six centuries and five half centuries.
His best score till date came against the same opposition when he smashed 264 runs at Eden Gardens in 2015. He will be hoping to put the behind last season’s disappointment and start the new season on a high.
