The fast-bowling duo of Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami is also back in the ODI lineup. Shami hasn’t played for India since the 2022 T20 World Cup semifinals, and Bumrah’s last match was against Australia back in September.

Shami was picked for Bangladesh’s series last month but was ruled out due to a shoulder ailment even before the match started. On the other side, Bumrah rejoined the ODI squad on January 3 after regaining his fitness levels. He missed more than three months of international cricket Due to a back problem.

Umran Malik is not likely to play in the ODIs given the return of Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami. Siraj will probably be in the lineup at least for the first ODI, which implies Arshdeep will sit out the opening match.
