Meanwhile, he shared a video of his extremely insane training, which took place on Russia’s Mount Elbrus. On February 11, UFC 284 will take place at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, where it should be warm as it is the hottest month of the Australian Summer season. Makhachev is aiming to retain his featherweight championship which will be his first title defense following his submission of Charles Oliveira in October of last year. Meanwhile, UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev posted an insane training video from the freezing cold from Mount Elbrus in Russia.

Makhachev can be seen diving into the lake in the above video while it is extremely cold outside. Given that Mount Elbrus is 18,510 feet above sea level and that the current temperature there is -27 fahrenheit, diving into the lake in such conditions clearly requires different mental fortitude.

However, Danis, mocking him, stated, “he can’t wait to get in the hot tub with all them dudes.” You can check out the picture of his comments below.
