Also, he founded the Russian mixed martial arts promotion business Eagle Fighting Championship, also known as Eagle FC, in 2020, and there are no reports of who would lead it now. Khabib follows Redfurymma, a Russian MMA website, and the page claimed in a post that, according to many sources, Khabib might be quitting MMA altogether. Although neither Khabib nor his team has officially confirmed it, a screenshot of a leaked conversation suggests that that may be the case.
The undefeated Dagestani appears to retire from the sport and expresses gratitude to his team in the text exchange. He praised them for their contribution to his accomplishment and hoped everyone affected by his choice would ultimately gain from it. “I gave you all big hugs and hoped my choice would only be beneficial. Thank you; you’ve played a significant role in my athletic accomplishment,” Khabib wrote in the text.

Although he does not yet work as a full-time MMA instructor, Khabib Nurmagomedov does instruct some of his buddies and teammates. ‘The Eagle’ has cornered battles for fighters like Islam Makhachev, Umar Nurmagomedov, Usman Nurmagomedov, and Abubakar Nurmagomedov after quitting MMA last year. The aforementioned competitors haven’t suffered a defeat while under Khabib’s tutelage, giving him a flawless coaching record this year.
