India team captain, Rohit Sharma who is currently in the Maldives spoke with the doctors that are currently treating Rishabh Pant. As for the other teammates, they have all contacted Rishabh’s family and manager to remain updated on his health conditions. The 25-year-old player suffered multiple injuries after his horrific car crash.
“Rishabh has two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee and has also hurt his right wrist, ankle, toe and has suffered abrasion injuries on his back. Rishabh’s condition remains stable, and he has now been shifted to Max Hospital, Dehradun, where he will undergo MRI scans to ascertain the extent of his injuries and formulate his further course of treatment,” a BCCI statement said.

Pant was driving alone in his Mercedes and was ‘lucky to survive’ as his vehicle caught fire. The 25-year-old broke the window of his car to escape, with locals and a bus driver helping him off to a nearby hospital. Pant is currently stable, BCCI confirmed.
