IND vs SL LIVE: Sri Lanka Players Practice Session – Starting on January 3, Sri Lanka will tour India for three T20I matches and as many ODIs. Although Dasun Shanaka & Co. won’t be in Mumbai until New Year’s Eve, they have already begun practicing for the crucial tour. On Thursday morning, the southern neighbours of India were spotted practicing in Colombo. They will resume their practice in the Wankhede Stadium on January 1 after arriving in Mumbai. Sri Lanka announced a strong 20-man squad

LPL Players in National Squad – Clearly, Sri Lanka placed a high value on the performances of the recently finished Lanka Premier League. Following some exceptional performances in the LPL, players like Sadeera Samarawickrama and Avishka Fernando have found themselves in the 20-man squad. Additionally, Chamika Karunaratne, who was dropped from their previous series against Afghanistan due to disciplinary difficulties, has been brought back.

They will lead their spin attack with the regular mainstays Maheesh Theekshana and Wanindu Hasaranga, while Dunith Wellallage has recently become a regular in the white ball team. Sri Lanka would like their U19 skipper to have a successful career at this level because of his outstanding potential with both the bat and the ball.

Pacer Dushmantha Chameera was left out since she has not yet fully recovered from an injury. Sri Lanka’s pace attack will be led by Dilshan Madushanka, who was fairly good in the T20 World Cup and the Asia Cup before that.
