Fantasy Premier League 2022-23: Top Captain picks for Gameweek 18
The obvious pick for the captain for Gameweek 18 is Erling Haaland. The menacing Viking was in top form against Liverpool as he netted quite quickly and stamped his authority on the game in Carabao Cup. Fatigue won’t be an issue for him as wasn’t part of the World Cup and should be fresh to get back to his goal-scoring form.
Marcus Rashford will be another name to keep in mind. The Unite No 10 scored and assisted in the first half against Nottingham Forest and looked like a threat throughout the night. Playing against Wolves away will be another interesting test for the forward.

Mohammed Salah was instrumental too for the Reds against Aston Villa. He opened the scoring and assisted Van Dijk to double their lead, early in the 1st half. With Luis Diaz out for some more months, there is more onus on the Egyptian to keep things flowing. Salah would be a good choice, considering his contribution to most of Liverpool’s attacks.
Differential picks for Gameweek 18
Kai Havertz could be a good differential pick for this game week. He was in fine nick against Bournemouth as he was involved in both goals. With their game against Nottingham Forest, Kai could give you valuable points.
Wilfred Zaha could be yet another winger who could be your differential pick. With Crystal Palace playing away to Bournemouth, Zaha could light up the wing and provide you with some pre-New Year goodies.
