Cena gladly accepted the challenge in the footage and warned the Bloodline that they will bring the fight on the go-home episode of the blue brand. Roman Reigns was stunned along with Sami Zayn whose reaction clearly stated that he could not believe what he had witnessed.
Speaking on this week’s Legion of RAW for Sportskeeda Wrestling, former WWE Head writer Vince Russo discussed the tag team match scheduled for 30th December 2022. He professed that putting Cena in a tag team match on his return to action is a waste of the legend. He believes Cena should have been booked for something much bigger.
“I still can’t believe bro, unless ticket sales are in the cr**per, I can’t believe they’re wasting John Cena in this tag team spot,” Russo said. “To bring Cena in this tag team, that’s what I’m saying, bro. Save that for something that’s much, much bigger bro.” (h/t – SK Wrestling)
