Power slap Mike Tyson introduced by Dana White’s new venture

Each athlete in Dana White’s Power Slap League is now being introduced. One of its sportsmen, Jewel Scott, drew the attention of the spectators who watched in awe as they saw him smack and knock the man with his slap. This is similar to Mike Tyson’s, called Iron Mike hitting technique. The Power Slap League page tweeted a link to Scott’s introductory video. The tweet they sent out said that Scott got his striking style from Mike Tyson. Check out the video down below.

UFC News round up: Marlon Vera vs Cory Sandhagen added

Top-ranked bantamweights Marlon Vera and Cory Sandhagen have been lined up as the main event at UFC Vegas 69 on February 18, 2023. “Chito” Given that Sandhagen is ranked #5 and Vera is ranked #4 in the UFC’s 135-pound division, the stakes are exceptionally high for this main event contest. Every fight must be won, of course, but the winner of this one will probably be within striking distance of a title chance.

UFC News round up: Jon Anik believes Dustin Poirier needs no title

Dustin Poirier submitted Michael Chandler in the lightweight main UFC pay-per-view event in November at Madison Square Garden to end one of the most bizarre fights of the year. In an interview with MMA Fighting, Anik said, “I don’t even know how to be articulate when talking about Dustin Poirier; I just want to call him an f-ing gangster and scream, ‘Oh my f-ing God, this guy,'” “Durability, attention, boxing principles — goodness, don’t you want f****** person [with you] if you’re in an alley, bro?”

Anik thinks Poirier doesn’t even need to earn the undisputed lightweight championship in the UFC after his recent victory over the always-competitive Chandler, despite the previous interim champion having twice fallen up short in his quest to do so. According to Anik, “the uncontested UFC lightweight championship isn’t necessary for Dustin Poirier to demonstrate his talent.”
