Star Sports Network is the official broadcaster of IPL 2023 in India and hence, will provide the live telecast of the bidding event. However, Viacom18-Reliance bagged the digital rights to stream the tournament in June and thus, fans can switch to Jio Cinema to catch it live.

IPL 2023 AuctionBCCI has booked two floors of the Grand Hyatt in Bolgatty island in Kochi for IPL Auction 2023. The mini-auction will be a 7-hour affair with an hour of break in between on December 23. Before the auction day, the franchises will meet with IPL governing council members on December 21. On this day, the franchises will get some clarity on players’ availability. Another set of meetings will be on December 22 with broadcasters to have a mock auction.

The IPL will feature two broadcasters for the first time. JioCinema will have IPL 2023 LIVE Streaming while Star Sports Network will broadcast the IPL Auction LIVE on TV. Consequently, the course of events might vary. On December 20–21, the team owners and a small number of helpers will arrive in Kochi.
