Ranji Trophy Round 2 Day 4 Highlights: Tamil Nadu held their nerves as they avoided a defeat against Andhra. All-rounder Washington Sundar starred with the bat with an unbeaten 65 runs. Kerala came close to winning against Rajasthan but fell short in the end on day four of the Ranji Round 2 games.  Punjab vs Railways, & Maharashtra vs Saurashtra encounters ended in a draw. Earlier, Gujarat registered a crushing victory over Jammu& Kashmir on Day 3 of the Ranji Trophy Round 2 matches. Karnataka also took three days to win their match beating Puducherry by an innings and 7 Runs. Apart from Gujarat and Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh also wrapped up the round 2 matches in three days beating Nagaland by and innings and 230 runs.Follow Ranji Trophy 2022 LIVE Updates on InsideSport.IN.

Shams Mulani’s 7 wicket haul in the first innings have put Mumbai in drivers seat against Hyderabad.   Maharashtra finished their innings at 493 runs  thanks to a century from NS Shaikh and 96 runs form skipper Ankit Bawne on Day 2. Mumbai and Baroda declared their innings after scoring over 600 runs. In the Mumbai vs Hyderabad match Ajinkya Rahane scored double century , while Sarfraz Khan remained unbeaten on 126. Baroda have a upper hand against Haryana courtesy of centuries from JK Singh (195), Priyanshu Moliya (114*) and PA Kumar (110).

There were couple of matches whose results were decided on Day 2. Meghalaya Crushed Sikkim by 10 wickets, while Madhya Pradesh beat Chandigarh by an innings and 125 runs on Day 2.  The match between Railways and Punjab was suspended after the surface at Karnail Singh deemed “dangerous and unfit for play. “Star Sports Network will have Ranji Trophy LIVE Telecast of selected matches.
