After suffering consecutive losses against Dustin Poirier in the 155 lbs division, the former double champ is yet to announce his return. Several people predicted to see him retire after the infamous ankle snap at UFC 264. Nevertheless, Conor McGregor seems to be doing fine.
He has posted about his recent training sessions and can come back to action in early or mid-2023. Dana White highlighted the possibilities of making Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler, which impressed most MMA fans.
However, it is unclear when McGregor will return, and that leaves the door open for several more fighters. Besides Chandler, who has wanted to face Conor McGregor several times, Renato Moicano, Charles Oliveira, Rafael dos Anjos and many others want to have a shot at ‘Notorious’.
Conor McGregor is undoubtedly the biggest money fight in the UFC and everyone seems interested in earning that. That said, a potential fourth fight between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier can’t be ruled out completely.
