IND-W vs AUS-W: BCCI is eager to promote women’s game, promotes IND-W vs AUS-W T20 series across Mumbai – BCCI & MCA earlier announced free entry for women fans in Mumbai to boost women’s game. The response in the first T20I was terrific. Apart from free tickets, BCCI also has put across hoardings of the IND-W vs AUS-W T20 series across Mumbai. BCCI also teamed with Mastercard for a wonderful campaign owing to the Harmanpreet Kaur-led team’s success in 2022.
With four T20Is yet to be played, BCCI & MCA wants to make this ongoing T20 series against Australia a massive success.

Catches win matches and India failed to win after dropping Beth Mooney. The Australia opener went on to smash a brilliant unbeaten 89 to blow India away by 9 wickets in the 1st T20. Chasing 173, Australia were off to a flying start with Mooney and Alyssa Healy adding a 73-run opening stand. While Vedika Vaidya removed Healy, Mooney kept Australia on cruise control with a 100-run stand with Tahlia McGrath (40 off 29 balls). The win helped Australia stretch their winning run to 16 in T20Is.
