The ICC posted an image of the Canadian cricket team while updating its followers on this on Twitter. As cricket fans from all over the world learned about the ICC’s post, which was eventually taken down, they criticized the cricket body for making such a mistake.
Another high day for ICC as they mix Bangladesh with Canada team this time. Yesterday they confused Women’s player of the month nominees with Men’s. Or someone is on his notice period? pic.twitter.com/3tzlD4tHOl

This isn’t the first time that the ICC Twitter account has erred. The ICC made another error when they announced the finalists for the ICC Women’s Player of the Month Awards on Tuesday, December 6. They uploaded images of the nominees, including Gaby Lewis from Ireland, Natthakkan Chantham from Thailand, and Sidra Ameen from Pakistan. However, they listed the names of Men’s Player of the Month nominees Jos Buttler, Adil Rashid, and Shaheen Afridi.

Batting first, Bangladesh found themselves in trouble at 6/69 as India took control of the match with the services of Washington Sundar’s three wickets.
But just when it seemed like India were winning the match handily, Bangladesh rallied thanks to a scorching 148-run partnership between Mahmudullah and Mehidy Hasan Miraz. After Mahmudullah was bowled out for 77 runs in the 47th over, Mehidy Hasan Miraz gave Bangladesh’s innings one last boost with 54 runs off the final 23 balls. Hasan, who scored 100 unbeaten of just 83 deliveries was the driving force behind Bangladesh’s recovery.

In response, Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, and KL Rahul were all back in the hut, leaving Rohit Sharma and company in a dire situation at 4/65. As Rohit Sharma was unavailable at the top of the order owing to a thumb injury, their issues were made worse.
The slump was broken by Shreyas Iyer and Axar Patel’s 107-run partnership, but the asking rate continued to rise. Team India were on the verge of losing as the score reached 213/8 a short while later. When everyone assumed that the game was done, a new twist entered the story when an injured Rohit Sharma took to the wicket to bat.
Rohit Sharma played a valiant inning despite suffering a thumb injury on his left hand. He started to hammer the ball all over the place and reduced the score to 20 runs at the end of the 49th over. In the last over, where 20 runs were needed to win the match, Rohit Sharma smashed the second and third deliveries for boundaries, but the dot ball Mustafizur Rahman bowled on the fourth complicated matters for him.
