India cited concerns about the Cyber security breaches and violence in-games, Battlegrounds Mobile India was serviced by Chinese company Tencent in the past, but there are still concerns that India still thinks that it is being serviced by a Chinese company. Sp, we are trying to resolve this.

It was July 2022 when the Government of India decided to block BGMI, citing security reasons (Data migration to Chinese servers). Meanwhile, the Global variant of Krafton, PUBG Mobile is continuously making progress by introducing a new iteration of updates. However, the Indian version, BGMI. is yet to explore its 2.2 Update, which was supposed to arrive in September. Meanwhile, the community has been handed the same old 2.1 Update till February 2023.
