Narayan Jagadeesan created history in VHT 2022 after he smashed the highest-ever score in List A cricket. Released by the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), the wicketkeeper has now become a household name thanks to his record-breaking feat against Arunachal Pradesh. The right-handed batter scored a 141-ball 277 in Bengaluru. With 5 centuries on the bounce, the TN star will certainly be on the wishlist of IPL franchises. To note, he is also the highest-run-getter in the tournament with 830 runs to his name in just eight games.
2. Rohan Kunnummal
Rohan Kunnummal was the prominent scorer for Kerala in the ongoing VHT 2023. Despite his side crashing out of the competition before the knock-out stages, Kunnummal amassed 414 runs in just seven games. The 24-year-old scored at an astonishing average of 103.50, The right-handed batter is expected to fetch a good amount in the upcoming IPL auction. 3. Samarth Vyas
One of the main reasons for Saurashtra reaching the final of Vijay Hazare has been Samarth Vyas. The 27-year-old has played several match-winning knocks in the ongoing tournament. Speaking about his numbers in VHT 2022, the 27-year-old has played nine matches and has scored 431 runs. In T20s, Vyas has amassed 649 runs in 28 matches at a strike rate of 151 and at an average of 30.00.
4. Vasuki Koushik
Karnataka’s pacer V Koushik is the current leading wicket-taker in the VHT 2022. The speedster has grabbed 18 wickets in just nine games with his side bowing out of the competition in the semi-finals. Koushik is likely to be over-hauled by Jaydev Unadkat a leading wicket-taker who has 17 wickets and will play in the final match. However, IPL franchises like GT, CSK, and MI who need a decent pacer might be bidding for Koushik in the upcoming auction.
5. Vidwath Kaverappa
Another Karnataka bowler in the list, V Kaverappa was simply exceptional with the ball in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. The right-arm pacer grabbed a total of 17 scalps in just eight games.
