In a 43-second video uploaded from the official Twitter account of the PCB, the left-arm pacer can be seen having a conversation with another speedster, Haris Rauf. Shaheen also met Azhar Ali, Pakistan’s skipper Babar Azam, and other Pakistani support staff to wish them luck. In the video, he was also captured having a cup of tea.
England dismantle Pakistani bowling line-up
Winning the toss, England had no hesitation in batting first. England openers Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley wreaked havoc on a meek-looking Pakistani bowling line-up. The duo stitched an opening stand of 233 runs and scored runs at a fast pace. Both of them also completed their respective centuries before getting out.
Speaking further about the game, Pakistan did manage to take some wickets. After scalping both openers, the home team also managed to grab the big wicket of Joe Root. However, the Three Lions are still in the driver’s seat and will look to cross the 500-run mark in the first innings to push Pakistan further.
