UFC News round up daily: Francis Ngannou discusses emotions after UFC fight
Francis Ngannou believes that if he had lost to Ciryl Gane in the January main event of UFC 270, all of his accomplishments, popularity, and allure would have been lost. Francis Ngannou’s former partner Gane is an elite-level fighter with a high IQ, and many people supported him in ousting Ngannou from the heavyweight title.
Francis Ngannou remarked, “After the fight, I started to feel resentment rather than happy. Oh, I was upset about all of this. Those childishly emotional times. They wanted to ruin me; they tried to fu** me, so, yeah. What if I had fallen short in the battle? It would have been like, Oh no, that’s okay. It wouldn’t be as though he had just dropped a match, as fighters do. Even though a fight was lost, the drama would have ensued.
The heavyweight title fight between current champion Francis Ngannou and former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is expected to occur at UFC 285 on March 4, 2023, according to the consensus. Jones may take on Curtis Blaydes if Ngannou is not prepared by then, according to another theory.
EX-UFC fighter accuses Balenciaga, Adidas designer, of promoting cannibalism
One of the most vocal former UFC competitors on Twitter is Jake Shields. He frequently has well-reasoned viewpoints and enjoys igniting conflict. Shields decided to address the Balenciaga gate dispute this time and has been tweeting about it for several hours.

For its most recent Spring/Summer 2023 collection, the Spanish luxury apparel brand Balenciaga has drawn criticism for featuring two kids holding teddy bears in BDSM-style bondage garb. Jake Shields, a former welterweight title contender, attacked Lotto Volkova, the head designer for Adidas and Balenciaga. The former UFC fighter revealed the sinister reality that Lotto was mocking Christianity by dressing up for church in a Cannibal Corpse shirt.

Alex Pereira makes an official offer to Khamzat Chimaev
After winning the middleweight title at UFC 281, Khamzat Chimaev called out fighters, and Alex Pereira claims he was prepared to accept the offer – on one condition. In the fifth round, Pereira defeated longstanding foe Israel Adesanya to capture the championship earlier this month at Madison Square Garden in New York City. After the fight, Chimaev issued a social media challenge to Pereira, calling the new champion “easy money” and claiming that he would defeat Pereira in one round or less if the bout took place in Brazil.

“I went to [my] manager and told him, ‘Look, I just completed a hard weight cut; I can’t make [185] for this right now, but tell the UFC I’ll challenge him to fight me at 205 at [UFC 283] in Rio,” Pereira stated on The MMA Hour that Chimaev didn’t want it.
“Since we don’t need to worry about a weight cut and are both large guys, let’s fight at light heavyweight. We offered Rio 205 from us.”
