The FIFA World Cup in Qatar has divided opinions all over the world. Many have criticized FIFA for hosting it in Qatar because of their human rights issues. In addition, many are against it because homosexuality is illegal in Qatar, and they banned any signs of support towards the rainbow movements.

The Tate brothers have now given their take on it. Speaking on one of their podcasts, Tristan Tate said, “My overview was, if rainbow flags were the fashion of English people, and we wore them all the time, I’m sure Qatar would let us in with the tee-shirts.”

Therefore, this comment shows his dismay that fans and pundits are going out of their way to make statements, and it’s not something they usually do. He then added, “Can’t you just, you know, have sex with who you want, in your house, without having to show everyone in the world cup?”

Tristan Tate also gave an example of how polygamy is legal in Qatar and illegal in England. So, if the World Cup was in England, would they allow the Qatari fans to promote polygamy? Basically, questioning the idea that the west’s rules and values are right.

Andrew Tate also gave his take. After criticizing the protests and saying he isn’t necessarily a football fan, Tate said, “Why? I don’t get it? Why can’t people just play football? Why do they have to mix this agenda with everything?”

The ‘Top G’ then added, “I don’t give a sh*t if people are gay. I don’t care, you can be as gay as you want.” These comments showed that while Tate has his own opinion on the matter, he isn’t against others doing it. However, he hates that they are forcing an agenda on everyone.

Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate didn’t hold back

The two brothers did not stop there. They gave several examples of how the west is in no position to make statements on morality and what is right. Andrew Tate even spoke about how the ‘Matrix’ will use anything that is popular to push an agenda.

‘Top G’ Tate pointed out that since football is the most popular sport in the world, the ‘Matrix’ uses it to promote this agenda. He said, “If you like football, you must also like homosexuality. Take both, or take none. That is insane.”

“It doesn’t even make sense. You’re taking two unrelated things and putting them together and saying, ‘Take both or take none’. It’s crazy and football fans don’t seem to notice.”

While the two brothers are famous for their controversial comments, many will agree with their opinion on this. Ultimately, football is a sport and a sport for everyone. People of all cultures, all beliefs, all faiths.

Naturally, fans will have their own opinions on these matters. However, it is unfair to fans to force only one opinion on the sport they love. While these movements say the sport is for all, they clearly forget that some fans disagree with it, and they should have the option to disagree with it. Maybe the Tate brothers have a point. Maybe it’s time to let a sport be a sport and not a tool for any sort of agenda.
