UFC news round-up daily: Conor McGregor fight update by Michael Chandler
In an interview with ESPN MMA, Chandler clarified his plans to take on Conor McGregor and explained why he is the ideal opponent for an Irishman. Despite this, Chandler is dubious of McGregor’s intentions and whether the super fight would ever take place.
“I do believe that’s the fight to pick, he remarked. When you mention that Conor McGregor is on the opposing side of the two-person encounter that we must enter, you know. Conor is in a position to take advantage of any chance on earth. Does he have to return? Without a doubt. Does he intend to return? We are unsure. Who the hell else do you want to be standing on the other side if he decides to return?”
Jon Jones criticizes Khabib Nurmagomedov-team
The Khabib Nurmagomedov team’s combined record was revealed in a photo that ESPN MMA recently posted on social media. As previously indicated, they have a combined record of 142 victories, 11 wins, and three no-contests. The unbeaten superstars among them are Khabib Nurmagomedov (29-0), Usman Nurmagomedov (16-0), and Umar Nurmagomedov (15-0).
While Khabib’s cousin Usman Nurmagomedov now owns the Bellator lightweight championship, his colleague Islam Makhachev is the current UFC lightweight champion. Jon Jones, in particular, does not share everyone’s admiration for the Nurmagomedov family.
Jon Jones, a former UFC light heavyweight champion, asked Khabib Nurmagomedov about his group’s opposition. Here is ‘Bones’ response to the statistics.

UFC news round-up daily: Dillon Danis breaks 17-year-old’s phone
Dillon Danis is well-known for supporting Conor McGregor, but he is also notorious for his dubious MMA antics. The 2-0 Bellator fighter hasn’t competed since 2019, but he has participated in numerous brawls and street battles, giving him a nasty reputation.
Anthony Taylor recently struck Dillon Danis after the Bellator prospect got into a fight with KSI. New video evidence, meantime, shows Danis severing a 17-year-cellphone old’s before being ejected from a stadium. Take a peek at the video below.
