Buffering Issues during the LIVE Streaming of OPENING CEREMONY? The problem was not just restricted to the opening ceremony, with fans also having difficulty in watching the match between Qatar and Ecuador.

The fans in India had a problem in streaming the opening ceremony as Jio Cinema kept on buffering. Many users then took to Twitter to slam the platform for not having the best possible streaming for the biggest event in the world.

Soon after, fans started complaining on Twitter, the official handle of Jio Cinema tweeted, saying that the users are required to update the app in order to have the best possible streaming. However, even after updating, the problem continued for the users.

 

 

 

How much Reliance VIACOM18 has paid for FIFA RIGHTS? Reliance & Viacom18 promoted NETWORK has paid whooping 500 Crore for FIFA World CUP rights. This is almost 120% than what Sony Sports Netowrk paid for FIFA WC 2018 rights in Russia.

The business behemoth has decided to STREAM FIFA World CUP LIVE for free on Jio Cinemas. The streaming will be available for free for AIRTEL, VODA, JIO & BSNL subscribers.

It’s clear, before the BIGGER TICKET IPL 2023 starts, Reliance wants to make sure that SPORTS FANS are aware of JIO CINEMA app and have downloaded the same.

“See, Viacom18’s investments on IPL is 100 times more than FIFA World CUP. By offering FIFA Streaming for free, they are making sure that before IPL 2023 every Sports fan has downloaded Jio Cinema. It seems FIFA WC LIVE fore free is a marketing tool for the BIGGER GOAL”, opined one of the leading Sports Media industry specialist.

It is worth noting that IPL India digital rights deal was acquired for Rs 23,758 crore by the Reliance-backed Viacom18.

FIFA WC LIVE Broadcast: Sports18 & JIO Cinema signs top brands for FIFA WC LIVE Streaming, Mahindra, VISA including 18 big advertisers signed

FIFA WC LIVE Streaming – FIFA WC 2022 Sponsors Though the offering is for free, Viacom18 is on SPONSOR signing spree for FIFA World CUP.  To showcase the World Cup in India, according to InsideSport estimates Viacom18 is paying 500 Crores to FIFA.

The Official broadcaster of FIFA World CUP in India, Sports18 has signed 18 SPONSORS for the LIVE broadcast & LIVE Streaming of FIFA World Cup. The signed advertisers includes the likes Mahindra, AMFI, Visa, CakeZone, Black & White, AM/NS India, ET Money, Amul, intel, SBI and Spartan Poker.

The industry sources informed InsideSport that the revenue from the advertisers will be only 50-60% of the acquisition cost.

  • FIFA WC LIVE Streaming will be available on Jio Cinema.

  • The Fifa World Cup 2022 will take place from November 21 to December 18.
  • The Official broadcaster has roped in 12 BRANDS for the LIVE TELECAST

Mahindra has been signed as PRESENTING PARTNER for the LIVE Broadcast. ET Money will be the Associate Sponsor.

VISA, CAKEZONE, Black & White, AM/NS India, AMUL, Intel, SBI and Spartan Poker have been roped in as Associate Sponsors.
