“There is nothing from Rishabh Pant’s side. He doesn’t get distracted by her activities. Actually, Urvashi wants someone to tease her,” Gill said months after the episode first broke out. She was in-stands to cheer for Team India at the marquee event where the Rohit Sharma-led side were knocked out in the semi-finals.

When did the Rishabh Pant-Urvashi Rautela saga break out?
The episode first came to light when the Bollywood actress, in an interview to Bollywood Hungama, said: “a certain “Mr RP” had waited long ij vain to meet the actress during an event in New Delhi, eventually leaving “16-17 missed calls.”
The India wicket-keeper batter had reacted to the interview via an Instagram post which said: “It’s funny how people lie in interviews just for some meagre popularity and for hitting the headlines. Sad how some people are so thirsty for fame and name. May God bless them “merapichachorhoBehen #Jhutkibhilimithotihai.” However, he had taken down the story from Instagram.
