In the latest weather update on Friday, heavy showers are developing this afternoon. Which will turn to heavy rain this evening. There are also chances of thunderstorms. Southeasterlies turning northeasterly this evening.
On Thursday, Wellington weather was predicted to be quite cloudy. The periods of rain in the evening are to be followed by a shower in spots late as per AccuWeather.

Wellington Weather Forecast
As per NZ’s Met Service, one or two showers are expected on Friday in Wellington. Then rain from the afternoon and light winds will hit. The temperature will go as low as 14 degrees Celsius while at the peak it will be 21 degrees Celsius.
Wellington promises little sunshine with a good chance of rain throughout Friday. The temperature will help in providing ideal conditions for both Indian and New Zealand cricketers if the action did occur.

Wellington has generally provided a bed of roses for batters. And on Friday, in the 1st T20I, the pitch should offer nothing different. The seamers have been more successful in getting wickets but the spinners have been economical.
IND vs NZ LIVE T20 Series:
India men’s tour of New Zealand will begin from Nov 18 (Friday) till Nov 30. The limited-over series will consist of three T20Is and an equal number of ODIs.
India vs New Zealand 1st T20I will be played on Friday, 18th November at the Sky Stadium in Wellington. The teams will shift bases to Mount Maunganui for the second T20I which will be played at the Bay Oval on November 20, Sunday.
The third and final T20I will be played at McLean Park in Napier on Tuesday, 22nd November.
