There are thousands of Argentina and Lionel Messi fans in India. One such group of die-hard fans erected a 30-ft cut out of Messi in the middle of a river. The cut-out of Messi has been perfectly placed in the middle of Kurungattu Kadavu river in the middle of Pullavoor village in Kerala.
The fans await in hopes for Lionel Messi to bring back the World Cup for the Albiceleste side. The Last time Argentina won the World Cup was back in 1986 and thereby end a 36-year-old wait. The die-hard Argentine fans back in 2018 planted a gigantic flag at the same spot.

“We wanted to mark the occasion with something special and who else other than Messi deserves it more,” said Ashik Ahamed, a member of the fans association.
The 32 teams will take part in the mega coveted event scheduled to take place from 20th November. The Qatar World Cup is one of its kind with the biggest footballing event happening for the first time in the middle east in the month of November-December.
