According to reports from England, United “contacted” Van der Sar last week. Additionally, they claim that the Premier League team has “knocked on the door” for him previously. Two years earlier, Van der Sar was also notified by Ajax of United’s interest, but at the time, he was not interested in leaving Ajax. Currently, the Eredivisie side is preparing to take his position in case he decides to leave and reunite with Ten Hag at his previous employers.

According to rumors, Ajax is preparing to replace him with famous former defender Danny Blind, the father of former United star Daley Blind. Van der Sar hinted at a transfer when asked about his connections to United in the past, saying that he could only work for Ajax and the Red Devils.
