The corporation wrote a letter to the stadium’s owners requesting that they ask the franchisee to pay the tax. Additionally, a letter that they allegedly wrote to the team has gone unanswered. This comes shortly after the Thiruvananthapuram corporation requested in writing to Kerala Cricket Association. KCA was asked to pay the entertainment tax for an international T20 match. The officials have chosen not to provide permission to hold the matches at Kochi’s JLN Stadium. The action was taken as a result of Kerala Blasters FC neglecting to pay entertainment tax. However, the local organization argues that is their legal obligation.
The mayor said that he was not aware of any such decision being made. However, he emphasized that any unpaid taxes should be paid. They dismissed the notion of challenging the ISL over the issue and stopping the league matches. While claiming that it would draw large crowds to Kochi.

The Kerala Blasters FC team bus’s fitness certificate has been suspended by the Motor Vehicle Department (MVD). The Suspension is due to five infractions. Owners have been given 14 days to fix the problems or they won’t be allowed to drive on the road. The MVD discovered five different sorts of infractions, including laminated harmful stickers, bus tyres in an unsafe condition, a broken rearview mirror, and no medications in the first aid kit.
