The English man remains confident about his recovery before the world cup which is six weeks away. In a recent interview with BBC radio live 5, he revealed his feelings about his inclusion in the upcoming World Cup. “I feel I can do this. There will be bumps in the road but hopefully, come to selection, I’m included.”, said the English man. He also remarked that he knows his body therefore he knows he can do it if the coach picks him up for the squad.

The defender has made 70 appearances for the English side and has been a favorite of coach Southgate since the Russia World Cup. The preliminary squad will be announced on the upcoming 20th of October. The date for final squad selection is on 14th November, almost a week before the World Cup kicks off. During this brief window, Walker is expecting a full recovery.
