Girish Maruti Ernak – [14 POINTS]
Playing for Bengal Warriors for the first time, Girish Maruti Ernak had a great start to the season as he has so far collected 14 Tackle points this season. The left-corner defender has two High 5s against his name in three matches so far and tops the Tackle Points leaderboard. With Maninder Singh doing the job in the rading department, Ernak is leading the defence for the Warriors and that augurs well for the team as they have won two matches out of three games played this season.

Krishan – Dabang Delhi [14 POINTS]
Playing in his second PKL season, Dabang Delhi’s Krishan has already become the team’s lead of the defence as he has picked up 14 tackle points in just three matches. The youngster started the season by picking up four tackle points against U Mumba, he then clinched the first Super 5 of the season against Gujarat Gianta in a match in which he picked up 7 tackle points in total. In a team that doesn’t possess big names like Joginder Narwal, Jeeva Kumar and Manjeet Chhillar, Krishan’s role in the defence so far has turned out to be very crucial in the team’s success.
Ashu Singh – UP Yoddhas [12 Points]
Ashu Singh has emerged as a vital cog in the UP Yoddhas defence as he has so far picked up 12 Tackle points in the season. In all the three matches that he has played, he missed the High 5 by a whisker as he collected four points each in all the three games so far. Ashu is doing a great supporting role in the UP defence that also has Nitesh Kumar in their ranks. However the team has not produced the desired result so far as Pardeep Narwal is not looking in great form. The raiders are putting in a good effort and they will reap the rewards if the UP raiders step up their game.

Vishal – Dabang Delhi [11 POINTS]
Dabang Delhi’s Krishan is ably supported by Vishal in the left corner as he has so far bagged 11 tackle points and is fourth in the list of most tackle points for the season so far. Vishal has been consistent in the three matches this season as he has picked up 4 points in two matches while he scored three tackle points in another match. Vishal is playing his first season for Dabang Delhi and last year he was with the Jaipur Pink Panthers side and scored 39 tackle points last year.
Saurabh Nandal – Gujarat Giants [10 POINTS]
Bengaluru Bulls’ Saurabh Nandal has been a consistent performer in defence over the last few seasons and this year too he has begun the campaign well as he has scored 10 tackle points from three matches so far. In the first match of the season against Telugu Titans he bagged four tackle points while in the next two matches he took three tackle points each.
