India T20 WC Squad: India Practice T20 WC: Team India have begun their homework not only on the field but also off it. After completing Day 3 of practice at the WACA, Perth, Team India watch Australia vs England 1st T20 from the stands. Dinesh Karthik, Ravichandran Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal and Harshal Patel shared pictures from the match. Rohit Sharma & Co headed to Australia in advance to prepare for the T20 World Cup. India will also play Australia and New Zealand as part of ICC’s official warm-up matches on October 17 and 19. But India are in Australia with just 14 players and a few net bowlers. BCCI still hasn’t named Jasprit Bumrah’s replacement. While the deadline ends today, the Indian board may do it today. Mohammad Shami is the frontrunner and will head to Australia with the reserve players on October 12.

On Sunday, Rohit Sharma-led Indian team had started their second practice at WACA. The players were involved in a gruelling training session on Sunday following a light practice on Friday. The team management had earlier confirmed to InsideSport that the Men in Blue will have a rigorous session at the GROUND for the next few days to acclimatize to the conditions.

TEAM India’s SCHEDULE at PERTH

  • As per India’s training schedule in Perth, they will have 2 days of rigorous training (Saturday & Sunday) – 11 am to 4 pm
  • Team will play Western Australia in Practice GAME on October 10 and 13th
  • On 11th OCTOBER – Team has been given rest
  • 12th OCTOBER: Another Practice session has been planned for the team
  • 13th OCTOBER: Warm UP match vs Western Australia
  • 14th OCTOBER: Team India will fly out of Perth

India Practice T20 WC: India warms up for the T20 World Cup by playing four practice games – BCCI had arranged two additional warm-up matches for India ahead of T20 World Cup. Perth was chosen as India’s base. Rohit Sharma-led side will now play both their matches against Western Australia and then Australia & New Zealand on October 17th & 19th respectively. Rohit Sharma, Arshdeep Singh, and Suryakumar Yadav shared pictures of India’s arrival in Perth today.
