IPL 2023: Jofra Archer injury – Jofra Archer is inching closer to an England comeback after the fast bowler returned to action in the nets. The express pacer has missed out on most of the action of 24 months but could return to the IPL next year. Jofra Archer last played for England in March 2021 and was first sidelined with a serious elbow problem, with the 27-year-old undergoing two operations in a bid to fix it. His return was further delayed after he suffered a stress fracture of the back and was ruled out for the entire summer.

Now the 2019 World Cup star has now returned to bowling and his working his way to full fitness ahead of a pivotal 2023. The England pace ace shared a video of him bowling at the nets with County Side Sussex on tiktok.

Reports in the UK suggest that England are ‘cautiously optimistic’ Archer could make his international return against South Africa early next year.

Fans in India are also optimistic of Jofra Archer returning with the England star having carved a reputation for himself in the IPL. despite his injury, Mumbai Indians paid a fortune of Rs 8 crore to secure his services aiming to pair him up with India’s yorker king Jasprit Bumrah.
