Ahead of the crucial clash, Rachakonda Commissioner of Police Mahesh M Bhagwat said that all the arrangements for India vs Australia T20 cricket match has been made. For the security and successful operation of the game, up to 2,500 police officers from the Cybercrime, SHE Team, Octopus, TSSP, AR, and other units will be deployed. The Commissioner also added that they have engaged snake catchers as bushes have grown bigger around the stadium due to lack of matches in the last three years. Mahesh Bhagwat on Friday said that everyone inside and outside the stadium would be subjected to video surveillance while speaking during a press conference at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. From the control room, a team of cops would be keeping an eye on the audience to make sure they weren’t engaging in any unruly behaviour. He issued a strong warning against pickpockets and those who sell tickets illegally, as per TNIE.
Hyderabad StadiumThe Commissioner further stated, “We have also hired snake catchers as the bushes around the stadium have gotten bigger due to the lack of matches in the last three years.”
The police would be present at Gates 4 to 9 in full (riot) gear, according to Malkajgiri DCP Rakshitha K Murthy, as certain anti-social elements may try to cause disturbance.

India have played only one T20I in Hyderabad against West Indies in 2019. The Men in Blue chased a 208-run target by six wickets. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul scored 94 and 62 runs respectively. 27 sixes were hit during the game, which was a record for a T20I match in India.
