IPL 2023: Gujarat Titans had a breakout debut season in the Indian Premier League last season, winning the title in style. Now, the winning franchise is making its foray into the world of fashion. Titans are set to showcase their streetwear collection at the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) X Lakme fashion week. It is scheduled in October. Follow IPL 2023 live updated with InsideSport.IN
The collection is going to be designed by established designer Kanika Goyal under her label only. Only the Autumn-Winter collection is expected to be launched next month. The other collection of Summer-Spring will be done later.
With this, the franchise is also trying to bring their fans together in a unique manner as well. It will be a first for any team in the IPL as well.

“We had a successful debut season and support from our fans. This launch of a streetwear collection is aimed at bringing the team and its fans together in carrying forward the spirit of the team and the game,” Livemint quoted Arvinder Singh, who holds the position of COO in the franchise, as saying.

The fans will be able to get hold of the collection only after the fashion week. It will be made available on the official website of Gujarat Titans.

It is interesting to see how Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) X Lakme fashion has collaborated with a franchise. It is a first for them as well. But this definitely opens up an option for other teams in the IPL to do so as well.
