India has an opportunity to grab two bronze medals as Greco Roman wrestlers Dipanshu and Ashu will play in the repechage rounds in the 97kg and 97kg categories respectively.

Greco Roman Wrestling
In the 97kg Greco Roman Wrestling category, Wrestler Dipanshu who lost in the quarterfinal against Bulgaria’s Kiril Milenov, will now have an opportunity to fight for bronze medal as he will play in the repechage, where he faces Italy’s Nikoloz Kakhelashvili.
In the 67 kg category, wrestler Ashu has an opportunity to grab bronze medal as he will be playing in the repechage round, where he will face Turkey’s Murat Firat.
Meanwhile India’s Gyanender will begin his campaign by facing France’s Leo Tudezca in the qualification round of the 60kg category Greco Roman Wrestling. In the 130 kg category, Satish will begin his campaign as he faces Azerbaijan’s Sabe Shariati.
Women’s Wrestling
Women wrestlers will kick off their campaign as the action is wrestlers belonging to the 55 kg and 62 kg category will step on to the mat during the day. India’s Sushma Shokheen, who has qualified directly to the quarterfinals will begin her campaign by facing Cuba’s Sanz Veredica.
Meanwhile, Sonam will be in action in the 62kg category. She faces Kazakhstan’s Ayaulym Kassymova in the qualification round.
