German sports, athleisure and show brand Puma has announced Indian actress Sara Ali Khan as the brand ambassador for India in a two-year deal.
Sara will promote Puma’s women’s range alongside their sport-style and training business.
The upcoming actress joins India’s leading brand icon Virat Kohli and Olympic medallist boxer Mary Kom on Puma’s brand icon roaster.
“Sara has a strong influence among the youth. Our women’s category has been in big focus for us. The association will be lucrative,” said Puma India managing director Abhishek Ganguly.
Sara later posted a picture in Instagram against the background of a spray-painted wall. She had spray-painted the wall as part of a brand activation with Puma signature campaign – Do You – as a graffiti at Mumbai’s Carter Road.

‘Strong is the new pretty’ accompanied with ‘fierce is the new fab’ were written on that wall in sky blue and pink hue. The actress wrote with the picture, “Woke up inspired and created something really cool with my new partner in crime.”
