Miranda Maverick vs Shanna Young FIGHT CANCELLED
UFC 278 had a total of 13 fights which are now reduced to 12 because of the unfortunate cancellation of Maverick vs Young.
Miranda Maverick informed people about this through her Instagram post.
She wished Shanna Young speedy recovery and depicted her disappointed regarding fight cancellation.
The disappointed is much larger than because it comes through such unfortunate reasons and as both fighters were working really hard for this fight.

The fight was scheduled for the Women’s Bantamweight Division and was supposed to start the UFC 278 Preliminary card.
In her post, Miranda wrote “Welp…fight is off guys. Shanna Young is in the hospital from illness (assuming from weight cut) and I wish her a full and fast recovery. We were ready, super prepared, and improved so much for this camp. I made weight already (within a pound to float off by morning).
“I’m hoping to still watch some really good fights on Saturday and get back in the cage as soon as possible. Thank you for the support and thank you to my team who has invested in me and the people who came out for this fight.”
