UFC London: Aleksandar Rakic reveals getting SUCKER PUNCHED by former foe Jimi Manuwa

UFC London: Aleksandar Rakic has revealed shocking details of getting ‘sucker punched’ by his former opponent Jimi Manuwa ar the UFC Fight Night in London this past weekend. Follow UFC Fight Night London Live Updates with InsideSport.IN

Aleksandar Rakic took to Twitter to reveal that while being escorted back to his hotel, he crossed Jimi Manuwa on the way. While Manuwa had a few words to say to Rakic, the Austrian ignored him and minded his own business.

However, this wasn’t taken well by Jimi Manuwa who proceeded to hit his former opponent. While revealing the details of the incident, Aleksandar Rakic said:

“Jimi Manuwa, you piece of sh*t. You son of a bi*ch. What a pu**y move you did last night on me. Guys, I would just let you know that after the event at UFC London, the security was escorting me to the transfer back to the hotel, and ‘Mr. Still Sleep’ was sitting in my row at the end of the row, so I needed to pass by.”

“And I pass by and he talked to me something I didn’t really pay attention. I have nothing to do with that guy. For me, this is over. So I started to turn away and he sucker-punched me. And even in that close range he couldn’t catch my head. I think he caught me with the forearm on my neck.”

Further in the video, Aleksandar Rakic revealed that the security separated the two immediately. Interestingly, Rakic took his fair share of shots in the video and reminded Jimi Manuwa of what happened when they met inside the octagon three years ago.

Aleksandar Rakic knocked out Jimi Manuwa with a head kick when the two faced each other back in June 2019. Interestingly, this proved to be Manuwa’s last fight and he hung up his gloves post this fight.

It is safe to say that Aleksandar Rakic believes Jimi Manuwa hasn’t let go of his brutal knockout defeat which was handed to him by him. However, while addressing the recent attack on Twitter, Manuwa suggested that it had nothing to with the fight but instead this was a result of all the post fight trash talk the Austrian has done.
