Shroud believes that xQc’s mental health must be in shambles, since the streamer faces regular toxicity from his Twitch chat. He claimed that the amount of toxicity that he saw on the former Overwatch pro’s chat was horrifying and bound to get to him at times.

Shroud is concerned about xQc’s mental health due to Twitch toxicity

Shroud recently raised his concern about xQc and his mental health. Stating his reasons, Shroud said that whenever he went on to xQc’s Twitch chat, he would see constant toxicity towards the streamer. Although most of it is trolling and making fun of the streamer in a light-hearted manner, Shroud believes that the constant trolling could definitely get to xQc at times.

“I don’t know how his mental [health] is, but it’s got to be bad. Because every time I watch him, his chat is just f**king roasting him. And I’m like, dude, I couldn’t do it.”

xQc’s community is well known for being extremely toxic towards the streamer, constantly making fun of him and roasting him in the worst possible ways. However, it does not generally seem to affect the streamer, as he retaliates in the perfect ways, and laughs off most of the memes whenever possible. Shroud, however, seems to be of the opinion that the entertainment streamer would surely be affected by the memes at times.

Twitch toxicity is not new to streamers at all

Popular streamers on Twitch have always been subjected to Twitch toxicity. While this is usually never from their own community, things are different in the case of xQc.

Earlier this year, Twitch toxicity stirred a huge debate within the streaming community when former Twitch partner, JiDion, sent his fans to raid Pokiman’s chat, who had just returned from her first ever Twitch ban. He sent his chat to spam “L+Ratio” on the OTV streamer’s chat, but his fans took things too far, sending hate messages to her followers. Things got bad enough for Pokimane to end her stream early and cost JiDion a permaban on the purple platform. Even seven months after the incident, the streamer is yet to have his ban revoked.
