Tom Aspinall is currently undefeated inside the UFC octagon with winning all of his five fights by finishing his opponent. He only went once in the second round in these five bouts.
However, Curtis Blaydes has experience of being in the UFC cage and has faced some of the biggest competition. He would enter the cage with a task to stop Aspinall’s win streak
Tom claims to be BIGGEST MYSTERY of Heavyweight Division:
Tom Aspinall has rised as one of the future Heavyweight Prospects and that too with just 5 UFC Fights.
What makes him special is that his entire skill set is still a mystery and fighters actually don’t know about it.
He is good on both the ground and his feet and has only gone to the second round once in his 5 UFC fights.
During the recent media day he said “I just have so much that I’ve not shown, and people don’t know what to expect. No one’s got any idea. Curtis, or anyone else in the heavyweight division, doesn’t know what I bring to the table, because I’ve not shown it yet. I’ve shown 10 percent of my game, because my octagon time is so short. No one has really seen what I can really do. So I have so much that nobody knows about, which is a massive advantage to me.”
He even addressed the potential threat that Curtis Blaydes brings to the table and said “This is MMA. He’s a great wrestler. He’s great at other stuff, as well. So, I have to be expecting everything. Obviously he brings a massive threat in the wrestling department. I’ve prepared for that. I’ve prepared for everything. This is MMA. You can’t just be like, ‘He’s going to come out and just take me down.’ He’s got great takedowns, but I’m ready for his striking, as well. And his submission game. I’m ready for everything.”
